Those planning to attend the UB Bulls’ men’s basketball game on Jan. 23 against UMass are encouraged to “blue out” Alumni Arena by wearing blue and showing up with plenty of True Blue pride.
Gates open at 6 p.m., with tip-off at 7 p.m. The Bulls will be wearing all-blue uniforms for the game.
UB faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets for the special price of $14.
Undergraduate students can use the mobile app “UB rewards” to access their free tickets for the game. The first 250 students and 250 general fans will receive a limited-edition UB knit scarf. There will also be free pizza available for all students.
Attendees can visit blue-out stations in the arena to pick up prizes such as blue necklaces and blue sunglasses, and apply blue face paint and blue tattoos.
In addition, UB football players and coaches will be in attendance and will receive the “Flagship Cup” for defeating UMass in football on Oct. 18.
True Blue celebrates the pride and spirit of the UB community. Share your blue-out game pride using #UBTrueBlue on social media or by uploading photos here.
