    UB employees who have a family member entering college within the next few years are invited to attend a special session on the college admissions process during UB 360°, UB’s summer open house on Aug. 12.

  • Save money on transit passes

    UB faculty and staff may be eligible to take part in NYS-Ride, a program that allows state employees to pay for certain work-related transportation expenses — including mass transit — on a pre-tax basis.
  • Deadline extended for problem-solving contest

    The deadline has been extended to Aug. 8 for faculty and staff who want to enter Blackstone LaunchPad’s contest for improving life at UB.
  • DOT to begin construction on Sweet Home Road

    Members of the UB community who travel to the North Campus via Sweet Home Road may want to allow for extra time for the trip — or take an alternate route — due to an upcoming construction project on the road near the North Campus.
  • Mentors sought for international students

    Members of the UB community are invited to donate school supplies to benefit students in pre-kindergarten through grade 8 in the Buffalo Niagara region.
  • Boil water advisory lifted

    The Erie County Water Authority has lifted the boil water advisory in effect for parts of Erie County, including UB’s North Campus. Individuals no longer need to boil their tap water and may begin to use water normally again.
  • Cyclists wanted for Bull Ride

    Bring your bicycle to work on July 27 and join your UB colleagues for a casual ride at the end of the workday at the second UB Bull Ride.
