Global Ambassadors

My name is Paige Bulera, I am a Media Studies major and a senior at UB. I studied in Canterbury, England at the University of Kent. I chose to be a Global Ambassador to assist others in finding their home abroad. My semester abroad was a life changing and overall amazing, rewarding experience. I hope I can help others find that joy and passion too!

My name is Anthony Gullo, and I am a senior with a double major in Physics and Mathematical Physics. I studied abroad during the January winter term in Florence Italy, and while I was there I visited Rome and Venice. I wanted to be a global ambassador to try and convince people to venture out and study abroad. My goal is to convince people who were on the fence about going aborad that it is worth it.

Jack is a Senior at UB studying Law. He wants others to study abroad because it was an amazing experience.

My name is Sydney and I'm a fourth year Media Study major with a Creative Writing minor. I studied abroad in Ireland this past summer. I chose to be a Global Ambassador because I wanted to help students learn about study abroad opportunities they may not have realized were available to them.

Hi! My name is Tyler Leote, and I am a first year pharmacy student in the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Doctor of Pharmacy program. It is my third year at UB, with my previous 2 years spent as an undergraduate at the university. I studied abroad in Fall 2022 through the SUNY Cortland program at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. I chose to be a Global Ambassador to advocate for the benefits that study abroad can bring to the student experience, both academically and mentally! I hope that sharing my experience will encourage others to get out of their comfort zone and experience cultures and lifestyles different from their own, hopefully allowing them to make friends from throughout the world and gain a new level of confidence.

I'm Luigi and I double major in aerospace and mechanical engineering with a minor in technical theater. I am a senior and I did a study abroad in Darmstadt, Germany. I chose to be a Global Ambassador to help others have the best time they can on their study abroad.

Hey! My name is Sophia Mesler. I'm a rising junior studying Business Administration, concentrating in International Business, and minoring in Italian. This past Spring 23' semester I studied abroad in Milan, Italy at one of Europe's top business schools, Università Bocconi. I met amazing people and experienced so much in just five months. I am so excited to share my enthusiasm for the opportunity to study abroad as a Global Ambassador!

Julianna Miller is a Senior Biology Major with a Psychology Minor who studied in Florence - LdM. "I chose to be a Global Ambassador because I wanted to get connected to more people that studied abroad and inform people about the study abroad program so they can find the program that fits right for them."

Hello everyone, my name is Jack Misenheimer and I am a sophomore studying Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. I was fortunate enough to participate in the Inaugural First Year Global Experience Program in Costa Rica. I am also hoping to study in Europe for the Spring 2024 semester. I wanted to become a Global Ambassador because I am very passionate about traveling, since it allows you to step out of your comfort zone and gain a new perspective of the world!

My name is Elena Orengo, I am a senior at UB and I am majoring in Health and Human Services with a minor in Nutrition. This summer I studied abroad in Florence, Italy. I chose to be a Global Ambassador because I had an amazing experience studying abroad and I want to encourage others to do the same. I feel that I had a greater appreciation for other cultures as well as having growth as an individual.

Hi! My name is Sara, and I’m from Port Chester, NY. I’m majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Public Health. This summer I studied abroad at the University of Barcelona. My study abroad experience was surreal, I met the greatest people and was able to immerse myself in the local Spanish culture. I chose to be a global ambassador to encourage fellow Bulls to make the leap and step out of their comfort zones to experience the world. I hope to share all my amazing study abroad experience and my new love for travel.

Hi, my name is Hui Song and I am a senior student. I'm majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Japanese. I went to International Christian University which is located in Tokyo, Japan this summer. After this program, I gained a lot and I want to share my experience and meet more people in UB.
