Monday, Nov. 6
- Paint-a-bull | 5 a.m. outside the Student Union
- National first-generation college student day kickoff with Career Design Center and the Intercultural and Diversity Center | 12-2 p.m. in the Student Union
Tuesday, Nov. 7
- Campus Resources Scavenger Hunt | 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Play along to win a prize! The first 25 students to complete the scavenger hunt will win a UB swag bag. Here is how:
1. Download the Scavenger Hunt playing board with clues (PDF). Printed copies are also available in Tutoring & Academic Support Services (TASS) in 130 Capen Hall.
2. Solve the clues that will lead you to a campus resource office and collect a piece by visiting that office. Pieces will only be distributed on Nov. 7 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
3. Once you have collected all eight pieces, come to TASS in 130 Capen Hall to claim your prize!

- Ijeoma Nwaogu presents Proud to be F.I.R.S.T.: Celebrating the first-gen student | 5-6 p.m. in the Student Union Theater. Reception to follow, sponsored by the Office of Inclusive Excellence | 6-7 p.m. in 215 Student Union.
Thursday, Nov. 9
- First-generation Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences tour and discussion | 1-3 p.m. A bus from North Campus will leave Flint Loop at 12:30 p.m. Register in advance for the bus tour.
- First-generation student social | 7-8 p.m. in C134/135 Greiner Hall, North Campus and 10th floor Goodyear Hall, South Campus
Friday, Nov. 10
- Lunch with first-generation alumni, sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement | 12-1 p.m. in 112a Capen Hall. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
- Student research panel: First-generation students present their research from various fields | 3-4 p.m. in 109 Capen Hall
- Proud To Be First reception, sponsored by the McNair Scholars Program | 4-5 p.m. 1st floor of Capen Hall (Between 112 and 130 Capen Hall)
