SENS is responsible for the installation and configuration of new hardware. Please coordinate your purchase with our staff.
Due to staffing considerations, SENS cannot assist with configuring or installing software owned personally by students, faculty, or staff.
It is presumed that before ordering your new system, you have consulted with SENS on your hardware purchase.
When ordering your new computer, accessories, and/or peripherals, please arrange to have them delivered to 114 Bell Hall. Send a request to senshelp@buffalo.edu in advance so the staff know the products will be arriving. If there are any special instructions, such as special disk partitioning or configuration of the operating system, include that in the request also.
Computers and other hardware components are usually configured in the SENS lab, 114 Bell Hall.
After the configuration is complete, the products will be delivered to your office or work area.
In some cases, such as with laptops, we may ask you to stop down to 114 Bell so that the system can be properly configured for UB's wireless networks.
