Dedicated lap swimming during scheduled hours in Broadview Arena. Find pool hours, community standards, facility information, and everything you need to know before your visit.
Visit the REC: Sports page for the most up-to-date REC: Swim hours.
REC: Swim will be closed from Sunday, August 9 through Friday, August 21 due to maintenance projects.
The water has a way of slowing things down.
Some swimmers arrive with a workout already planned. Others simply need a place to clear their minds, one lap at a time. Throughout the day, students, faculty, staff, and community members find their own rhythm in the water.
During scheduled REC: Swim hours, lap lanes are shared to help everyone enjoy the space. The pool also supports Division I Athletics throughout the year, so hours may vary.
Some swims are measured by laps.
Others are measured by how you feel when you climb out.
Your visit begins at the pool deck entrance.
To access REC: Swim, present your UB ID or Recreation membership credential to the staff member at the pool entrance during scheduled REC: Swim hours.
Locker rooms are conveniently located just outside the pool entrance, providing easy access before and after your swim. Each locker room includes day-use lockers, showers, changing areas, a sauna, steam room, and restrooms. Bring your own lock for day-use lockers, or rent a locker for the semester or year.
