About REC: Swim

REC: Swim provides dedicated lap swimming during scheduled Recreation hours in the Broadview Arena Pool (86 Broadview Arena).

The pool may be configured for 50-meter long course or 25-yard short course swimming depending on the schedule.

The water has a way of slowing things down.

Some swimmers arrive with a workout already planned. Others simply need a place to clear their minds, one lap at a time. Throughout the day, students, faculty, staff, and community members find their own rhythm in the water.

Wide view of the University at Buffalo indoor competition pool featuring multiple lap lanes with blue-and-white lane dividers, diving boards, championship banners, an American flag, a large scoreboard, and pool deck seating. The bright, empty natatorium is set up for swimming practice or competition.
