Some parts of campus have a rhythm. The Fitness Center is one of them.
Early in the morning, someone is finishing a workout before class. Around lunch, friends wander in together. By late afternoon, the room feels different. A few people are chasing personal records. Others are taking a break between lectures. Some simply needed a place to clear their heads before heading back outside.
Faces become familiar.
Not because everyone knows each other, but because routines have a way of introducing people over time.
The room changes throughout the day, but it always reflects the people using it.
Some workouts last an hour. Some last fifteen minutes.
Both count.
