The HardCORE Challenge brings together the best of both worlds – pushing your body and mind to new limits. Designed for UB students, this challenge invites participants to go for records in four classic feats: most push-ups, most pull-ups, longest planks, and longest dead hang.
Your energy, commitment, and willingness to push yourself made each event something special, and it was incredible to see the community you built along the way.
As we head into summer, the HardCORE Challenge will be taking a short break. We hope you take this time to rest, recharge, and stay active in your own way.
We are already looking forward to seeing you back in action for the Fall 2026 semester. Get ready to come back even stronger.
The Hardcore Challenge will kick off with weekly pop-up events, each featuring one skill at a time. This format allows staff to gather data throughout the semester. At the end of the semester or academic year, the challenge will culminate in a large-scale event bringing all the exercises together in one ultimate competition!

This event is open to all levels – no prior training required. Come challenge yourself, cheer on your friends, and see what you’re capable of!
