Early Career Faculty Development Series

A pictire from a prior brown bags seminar, where faculty are sitting at desks, and discussing the topic.

The Office of Faculty Affairs offers the Early Career Faculty Development Series to support new faculty in building a successful and fulfilling career at UB.

These workshops will provide opportunities for new faculty to explore topics that were introduced during the New Faculty Orientation as well as respond to questions and concerns that have emerged during their transition into faculty life at UB.  Meet a variety of campus leaders including vice provosts and administrators, recently tenured or senior faculty, as well as professional staff experts to engage in discussions regarding the multi-faceted issues associated with academic life.

The Early Career Development Series is:

  • An opportunity to further explore topics that were introduced at orientation as well as additional areas relevant to faculty success and well-being.
  • Held as 90 minute noon-time seminars.
  • An invitation to first and second year new faculty cohorts.
  • Intended to be interactive and responsive, your feedback and requests drive the conversation and future planning.

Upcoming sessions

Additional opportunities will be available soon.
