As one of New York State's premier innovation assets, this facility uniquely houses two NYSTAR Centers of Excellence—the Center of Excellence in Materials Informatics (CMI) and the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences (CBLS)—as well as the University at Buffalo's Center for Advanced Technology in Big Data and Health Sciences (UB CAT). Together, these assets create a powerful environment for research commercialization, startup growth and industry collaboration.

During the reception, guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet emerging startup companies, and explore technologies and innovations supported through NYSTAR and Empire State Development programs.
