Men’s Health included Nancy Nielsen in a report on COVID-19 public health emergency ending, detailing what this means for the public, depending on the type of insurance you have. When President Donald Trump declared the national public health emergency in March 2020, this move made billions in federal funds available for the government to provide Covid tests, treatments, and vaccines at no cost, and created other benefits to lessen the impact. Nielsen said this will be a major problem for those who do not have access to insurance or have Medicaid.
