Fact check: No, a black hole didn't end reality in 2012

USA Today consulted Dejan Stojkovic to counter a social media claim that the Large Hadron Collider created a black hole in 2012 that consumed the earth and ended reality without anyone noticing, except apparently the post’s original author. Stojkovic said it would take “an accelerator the size of the entire universe” to create a black hole, a device which in theory would have to be much larger than the 27-kilometer loop of the Large Hadron Collider on the French-Swiss border.
