The Washington Post cited recent analysis by Joanne Song McLaughlin that millennials are now of age to sue based on age discrimination. She said that women fare worse in such lawsuits because they can only sue either because of discrimination based on gender or age, not both. What older women really need, McLaughlin said, is the power to sue for both age and gender discrimination at once. That intersectional discrimination would be much easier to prove.
