An article in U.S. News & World Report about yesterday’s announcement by Vice President Joe Biden that he will not run for the Democratic nomination for president quotes Jacob Neiheisel, assistant professor of political science. “It’s difficult to say what he could have offered primary voters apart from trumpeting his candidacy as not bringing with it the kind of baggage that comes with Clinton,” he said. Neiheisel and James Campbell, professor of political science, also were quoted in an article in The Washington Times. “Clinton’s biggest obstacles right now are herself and what comes out of the Benghazi hearings,” Campbell said.
