    Physicians have treated chronic pain with antidepressants for many years, knowing that the medications -- particularly the drug with the scientific name amitriptyline -- helped many sufferers, but they didn't know how it worked as a pain reliever.

    The Institute for Museum and Library Services has awarded a grant for $255,648 to help the University at Buffalo School of Informatics, in partnership with the Buffalo City School District and the Rochester City School District, recruit and educate minority candidates as school media specialists.
