University at Buffalo Foundation Inc. (UBF) is an independent private entity. UBF is a public charity, commonly known as a 501(c)(3) organization. UBF's mission is to support the activities and programs of the University at Buffalo (UB).  UBF assists UB in achieving its goals, including those related to fundraising, endowed student scholarships, faculty research, recruitment of top talent to the university and the development of UB’s three campuses.
