My Background

Originally from South Florida, I moved to Long Island, New York, to attend college at Hofstra University. As a first-generation college student, I am passionate about creating supportive and meaningful experiences that help students navigate and make the most of their college journey.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies and Political Science, with a minor in World Literature, from Hofstra University. During my undergraduate years, I was involved in a variety of campus organizations and served as an Orientation Leader (OL) and Student Office Aide. My experience as an Orientation Leader sparked my passion for higher education and supporting students, ultimately inspiring me to pursue a career in the field.

I continued my education at Hofstra University, earning a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies. Following graduate school, I served as a Residence Hall Director at SUNY Old Westbury before joining the University at Buffalo.

I have a strong passion for helping students grow, find their sense of belonging, and make the most of their college experience. I especially enjoy getting to know students and supporting them throughout their personal, academic, and professional development.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking, and baking, as well as spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy pottery painting and playing tennis. My love of tennis began at a young age, and while I was in high school, I had the opportunity to coach tennis to younger children.
