The Major and Career Exploration Living Learning Community (LLC), located in Wilkeson Quad (Ellicott Complex) on North Campus, is designed for first-year students who are still exploring their major options. This community offers a welcoming and supportive environment for students assigned to the Exploratory and Pre-Professional Advising Center (EPAC). Through interactive programs, academic advising and support from the Career Design Center, students in our LLC explore how their interests and strengths can connect to a wide range of majors and career opportunities.

Students who participate in our Living Learning Community:

  • Enjoy the opportunity to meet and interact with other exploratory students outside of the classroom.
  • Experience a smoother transition to UB.
  • Gain a strong sense of community and belonging among other exploratory students.
  • Increase engagement in academic and co-curricular opportunities to help explore how interests relate to majors and careers.
