Deepening Engagement with Global Partners

How can we support students’ increasing interest in global experiences in ways that are scalable, sustainable and equitable for both students and partners? This session will explore global engagement through a design framework to consider new paradigms that leverage technology, project-based learning and digital media while supporting deep and measurable impacts for both students and partners.

How can we leverage the benefits of high-impact experiential learning for students who lack the time, money or access to transformative opportunities? This session will explore innovative models that reduce access barriers while expanding space for student-driven innovation and community impacts. Pedagogical innovations, including technology-supported engagement, project-based learning and digital media, will be discussed.

Assessing High-Impact Experiential Learning: Dashboards, Story-Telling and Connected Narratives

As we work to push the boundaries of high-impact experiential learning, we must move beyond traditional assessment metrics and methodologies that are inherently flat and limited. This session will explore three innovative approaches that utilize assessment dashboards, digital media and connected narratives—new models that embrace the rich and emergent nature of experiential learning while helping to build capacity for further engagement and learning.
