Enabling Research

CCR has a diverse and extensive capability in scientific, medical, and urban visualization that is available to support faculty led research projects including:

  • Development of 2D and 3D visualization applications.
  • Expertise in visualization toolkits such as VTK, FLTK, OpenSceneGraph, and OpenGL.
  • Experience in 3D reconstruction of 2D medical imaging data, including CT, MRI, PET, and SPECT imaging.
  • Visualizations of time varying scientific data sets, such as molecular simulations, chemical reactions, and other complex systems
