Kamla Persaud is a Ph.D. student in the Department of English at the University at Buffalo. She holds an M.A. in English and World Literature at York University, and a B.A. in English and Psychology at the University of Toronto. She is a student of the psychoanalytic formation Corpo Freudiano Vancouver, and she hopes to become a registered analyst alongside a career in academia succeeding her doctoral education.
