The Creative Writing Certificate is designed to help students shape their worlds in words—to share their unique imaginative universe in writing.

The Journalism Certificate Program (JCP) is an interdisciplinary course of study that provides students with a foundation in writing and reporting for publication or broadcast.

The Global Film Minor in the Department of English offers UB undergraduates the opportunity to discover vibrant cinematic traditions and innovations from around the globe. There is no requirement that Global Film minors be English majors.

English Majors have the opportunity to participate in our Honors Program.
