UB is making big moves to tackle waste. While we do great things here, we also generate a lot of waste — and that’s about to change. Over the next few years, UB will dramatically improve how we recycle, compost organics and reduce landfill waste. Thanks to a major university investment, we’ll be installing numerous ROT Stations (Recycling, Organics, Trash) in all 200 campus buildings. This initiative is about more than infrastructure — it’s about taking ownership of how we, as messy, silly, humans, contribute to the solution. Join us for an engaging session to learn what this new system will look like, how it will roll out and, most importantly, what you can do to make it a success.
