University at Buffalo Child Care Center (UBCCC) Board of Directors is seeking to bring on a few new board members to serve three-year terms beginning in Spring 2018. Serving on the UBCCC Board is an extraordinary opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the growth, development and care of children. If you are looking for a meaningful leadership and volunteer opportunity and are able to commit the time and energy to serve and govern the organization, please consider applying to become a board member. We’re especially interested in adding the following skills and experience to our team:

  • outreach, advocacy, fundraising
  • finance, accounting
  • personnel/HR
  • event planning, family programming
  • computer/IT support

UBCCC is a private, non-profit organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Monthly board meeting is held at UBCCC South Campus on every second Monday of each month from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Each board member is expected to serve on two board committees: executive, audit, finance, leadership, MED (marketing, enrollment and development), personnel and program. Board member typically spends around 6-8 hours per month doing board work: attending board meetings, participating in committee work, and being an advocate for UBCCC.

Interested candidates can download and complete an application from the link below. Please share this opportunity with anyone who you think may be interested in this position. The Board position is open to non-UBCCC families as well.
