Dear University Community:

I have appointed Graham L. Hammill, Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate School, as Interim Dean of Undergraduate Education, effective July 24, 2017. Dr. Hammill succeeds Andrew M. Stott, who is leaving UB for the University of Southern California.

During this interim period, Dr. Hammill will continue to serve in his role as Vice Provost of Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate School.

I am grateful to Dr. Hammill for his willingness to accept these additional responsibilities during this transitional period.

Sincerely,
