As you may know, UB is approaching its decennial review by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which will take place in the spring of 2024. Accreditation by Middle States affirms the UB’s high standards and is required by the United States government to administer federal financial aid to our students.
Accreditation by Middle States requires the university to provide evidence that we meet the characteristics of excellence and criteria as articulated in seven standards for accreditation. Evidence that we meet these standards is captured and reflected in a comprehensive Self-Study document that is now available for review by the UB campus community.
