UB provides several electric vehicle charging stations on the North and South Campuses. Charging stations are also available on the Downtown Campus.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

You are encouraged to charge your electric vehicle at UB. Charging is available at no cost.

Use ChargePoint

You must have a ChargePoint card to use the electric charging stations on UB’s campuses. Learn how to get a ChargePoint card.

Locations

North Campus

  • Coventry Road near Alumni Arena
  • Putnam Way near Bonner Hall

South Campus

  • Diefendorf Loop
Rules for charging:
  • Vehicles must be charging while parked at the stations
  • Maximum parking/charging time is three hours

Downtown Campus

Charging stations are available throughout the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC), which is where UB’s Downtown Campus is located. Please note that these charging stations are not managed by UB, so other rules and policies may apply.
