Dear University Community:
I am very pleased to announce that UB has launched the search for our next vice president and chief information officer. Ananth Iyer, dean, school of management will serve as chair of the search committee.
The position of vice president and chief information officer is essential to helping us realize our shared vision for UB. As we continue to rise in the ranks of the nation’s public research universities, it is critical that we elevate every facet of education, research and the student experience. Our vice president will be instrumental in the delivery of a robust and innovative information technology infrastructure to advance the university’s research and educational missions.
The search committee includes UB senior leadership, faculty, and staff. I am grateful to the members of this committee for their willingness to assist UB in recruiting an outstanding individual for this important leadership position. We have secured the services of Russell Reynolds Associates to assist the search committee.
The search committee will begin their work very shortly. Throughout the coming months, Chair Iyer will update the university community on the committee’s progress. Information also will be available on the search website.
