The Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC) 51st Commencement Ceremony is scheduled on May 15, 2024, 7:00 PM, at UB’s Center for the Arts (North Campus). All graduates who wish to attend, must submit the form below. Please email all questions to eoc-commencement@buffalo.edu.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligible students who have completed a BEOC program will be contact via email and letter regarding the Commencement Ceremony by March 2024. If you are unsure if you are a program completer, please contact your counselor or email eoc-commencement@buffalo.edu
ARRIVAL
Please arrive at the UB Center for the Arts no later than 6:00pm. When you enter the building, you will go down the stairwell near the entrance. BEOC staff will be on-site to help direct you to the lineup location.
Guests (friends and family) can go directly to the Mainstage Theater, which is located at the end of the atrium. The Center for the Arts staff and ushers will direct them to their seats. Seating for family and friends is general admission.
TICKETS
Tickets are not required for the BEOC Commencement Ceremony.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
Each graduate is allowed to bring seven (7) guests to the ceremony.
LIVESTREAM
The ceremony will be livestreamed. The link will be sent to the graduates prior to the ceremony.
PHOTOGRAPHY
A professional photographer will be on-hand to take individual photos of each graduate. Graduates need to arrive by 6:00pm to ensure all photos can be taken. The BEOC will mail the photo to the graduates a few weeks after the ceremony.

Location: Buffalo EOC Foyer (1st Floor)
May 6th, 7th & 8th
11am-1:00pm & 4:00pm-5:30pm
COMMENCEMENT RECEPTION
Immediately following the ceremony, refreshments, and photo opportunities, will be available in the Center for the Arts Atrium.
CERTIFICATES
Your printed BEOC certificate will be mailed to you by mid-June. Allied Health graduates will be contacted to pick up their certificates directly from the Allied Health Clinical Coordinator. Please make sure your address is up to date below.
