Creative Writing

The English Department offers graduate and undergraduate certificates in creative writing.  The undergraduate program is workshop-based, offering a supportive environment with peers and professors as well as many guest writers that visit every semester.  The graudate program presents a unique form of graduate study in creative writing, closely intertwining the practice of writing with literary and aesthetic inquiries.

Students in the Certificate program also receive a BA or MA in English, or a related field of study.
