The Young Alumni program is open to UB graduates in their 20s through mid-30s, to develop personally and professionally. These resources and events are for you!
We help create an informal space for you to connect with other UB grads while building connections that bring value to your professional work and life.
You can make an impact in your community, as many young alumni are front and center for UB's annual Alumni Day of Service projects around the globe.
With annual events like Bandits games, harbor cruises, and seasonal socials, there's exciting and fun ways to stay in touch, show your UB pride, and grow your network.
Stay connected to campus and lend a hand to current students with career advice and life guidance. Connections that are made often increase networking skills for you and current students.
The Young Alumni Leadership Council (YALC) is a volunteer corps of involved young alumni that assist the alumni team by connecting with alumni and students in the Buffalo Niagara region and beyond. Council membership is a light commitment, and fun way to stay plugged in to the UB Alumni Network. You'll help by assisting with event staffing, promoting UB initiatives to your networks, and connecting with peers in a fun but professional setting. While many of our activities center around the Buffalo area, we have many members that volunteer remotely on virtual initiatives or engage their local alumni networks.

Assistant Director of Young Alumni and Student Programs
YALC has been great to be a part of as I embark on my career. I have been able to connect with other young professionals, and share experiences on the transition from being in school to working. YALC also gives me the opportunity to provide wisdom to current UB students as they look to enter the workforce.
