UB’s Employee Assistance Program is offering two free workshops on Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAMT) to UB faculty and staff, retirees and their families.

The relaxation technique, which will be taught by Bharat Jayaraman, professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, can be practiced in 20 minutes and helps participants reduce stress through simple yoga postures, breathing, visualization and sound.

A one-hour refresher course will take place immediately after these sessions at 11 a.m. for those who already have taken IAMT but would like to renew the technique.
