UB researchers who missed an August workshop on preparing proposals for National Institutes of Health funding have another chance to obtain some valuable information.
“Successful Strategies for NIH Proposal Submissions” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Screening Room of the Center for the Arts, North Campus. The workshop is being sponsored by the offices of the Provost, Associate Vice President for Research Advancement and Strategic Initiatives, Vice President for Research and Economic Development, and Research Advancement.
The seminar, to be led by M.S. “Peg” AtKisson of Grant Writers’ Seminars & Workshops LLC, is designed to provide strategies for crafting strong aims, raising priority scores and tailoring proposals to the newer NIH guidelines. The workshop is recommended for both new and veteran researchers.
The registration fee of $85 includes a workbook and lunch. Space is limited; registration will close Oct. 7.
