Meet our Student Ambassadors
The following 11 individuals were selected to become official True Blue student ambassadors for their pride, engagement and ability to motivate everyone around them, building a greater sense of community and belonging throughout the university. Here, in their own words on social media, they show us all what it means to be truly True Blue.
Joey Almanzar
Sophomore, criminology
"UB truly feels like home - the people, classes, beautiful campus - it makes all these moments memorable and I can't wait to share my love of UB with others!"

Joseph Ennis
Senior, history
"I never had the opportunity to be so involved in such a prideful community at my previous school and I value the opportunity to surround myself with peers and professionals from various backgrounds. Go Bulls!"

Moumiza Hasan
Senior, electrical engineering
"I’m excited to be a True Blue ambassador because as a Bangladeshi student that's been welcomed by UB’s diverse community, I can pay it forward and help others feel a sense of belonging, learn how to become a leader and seize every opportunity."

Roja Khanam
First-year student, law
"As a proud UB Bull, I’ve embraced leadership, creativity, and community from day one. From founding the Aura Society and modeling in Buffalo Fashion Week to running for SA Senator and joining Mock Trial, Sisters in Law, and the Global Experience Program, I’ve shown my passion for growth and representation. As a True Blue ambassador, I want to share that pride, uplift my peers, and inspire others to make the most of their UB journey."

Kerry-Ann Lewis
First-year student, pre-law

Kerry-Ann's interests: Proud Jamaican and pre-law major, loves dressing up to take pictures and enjoys reading, playing tennis, and meeting new people to make new connections!
Jainesh Patel
Post-graduate student, pursuing Master's degree in clinical and translational therapy
"I am excited to be a True Blue ambassador because I like socializing and attending all kinds of campus events to meet new people."

For completing social media prompts throughout the semester, ambassadors receive the opportunity to participate in team meet ups and celebrations—and get the inside track on campus activations and promotions—all while earning UB gear and prizes (including the chance to win gift cards and campus cash).
