Intro to Quality Management Systems (QMS)

This 4-hour course introduces the fundamentals of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the key principles of ISO 9001:2015.

Participants will gain a practical understanding of how a well-designed QMS serves as a Business Management System that improves efficiency, reduces risk, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports sustainable growth.

The course explores the organization's context, the role of leadership, Quality Policy and objectives, and the importance of continual improvement. Ideal for organizations considering ISO 9001 implementation, preparing for certification, or seeking to strengthen overall business performance, this course provides a solid foundation for operational excellence.

John Riggi

John, a QMS Exemplar Global Certified Lead Auditor has 30 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs management at major companies, including Bausch & Lomb, Novartis and Baxter Healthcare. In each role, he has been responsible for global quality system design, manufacturing quality and regulatory compliance.
