CEUs/PDHs

Participants discuss an issue during a TCIE class.

Learners completing TCIE’s open-enrollment courses are eligible to receive credentials. Full course attendance is required to earn a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) or Professional Development Hour (PDH).

The number of units is determined by the number of technical instructional hours.

  • 1 CEU = 10 instructional hours
  • 1 PDH = 1 instructional hour

In the case of online-based courses, the contact hours are equal to the number of video lesson hours.
