Register

Students must register for classes that they want to take the next term. The process for registering varies depending on the type of student.

  • Current Students

    Students who are earning a degree at UB can start registering during their designated enrollment appointment. Non-degree seeking students should see the appropriate section of this website for more information. 
  • Non-Degree Seeking (Non-Matriculated) Students

    A non-degree seeking student is someone who is enrolled on a semester-by-semester or course-by-course basis and has not been accepted as a regular student pursuing a degree.
  • ROTC
    6/25/26
    The Military Science (MLS) program augments the college learning experience for students in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). Depending on the course, students register for courses through HUB and/or Canisius University.
  • 60 and Over Auditors Program
    6/25/26
    New York State residents ages 60+ can register to audit many classes free of charge, depending on space available in the class.
  • How to Register in HUB
    6/25/26
    Students should search for and enroll in classes via their HUB Student Center.
  • Wait List
    6/25/26
    When a department has designated a class to allow wait list, the student has the option during registration to wait list the class if the class is full. If a seat opens in the class, eligible students are moved from the wait list in the wait list order.
