About

The HardCORE Challenge will kick off with weekly pop-up events, each featuring one skill at a time. This format allows staff to gather data throughout the semester. At the end of the semester or academic year, the challenge will culminate in a large-scale event bringing all the exercises together in one ultimate competition!

The Skills

  • Push-up: Mats will be provided. Participants are to do as many push-ups as possible while a staff member keeps count. Once they reach their final push-up, the number of pushups will be recorded and put in the appropriate order on the leaderboard.
  • Pull-up: A pull-up bar will be supplied for participants. They will be instructed to complete as many pull-ups as possible while a staff member keeps count. Once they’ve reached their final pull-up, their number will be recorded on the leaderboard for the pull-up section.
  • Plank: Mats will be provided for the plank. Participants are to hold a plank as long as possible while a staff member times them with a stopwatch. Participants' names will be recorded and noted on the leaderboard.
  • Dead Hang: A pull-up bar will be provided, and participants will be instructed to dead hang while being timed by a staff member.
