As chairs, you have to adapt to the rapidly evolving role of generative AI in higher education, and at the same time be able to support your faculty engaging with both opportunities for teaching innovation and challenges to academic integrity. This session will explore practical strategies for choosing and using AI tools effectively, while also examining ethical considerations such as bias, privacy, and policy needs. Through real-world examples and guided discussion, participants will leave with concrete approaches to responsibly utilize generative AI tools and support student learning.
Details for our spring Department Chair Conversation series will be available at the end of the fall semester.
