Whether you're a total non-science person or the next Einstein, the Science and Art Cabaret was made for you. This is science as never seen before; it's the Science and Art Cabaret sponsored by the University at Buffalo and Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center on Oct. 20 from 7-9 p.m. in the Ninth Ward in Babeville's Asbury Hall, 341 Delaware Ave.

The University at Buffalo School of Management was ranked as one of the country's best Undergraduate Business Programs in the 2010 edition of "America's Best Colleges" by U.S News and World Report . The magazine ranked UB in the top tier of best national universities, ranking the university 60th among public universities and 121st overall among 265 universities reviewed.

Stephen Marc, a noted African-American photographer and digital montage artist, has spent nearly a decade on the road in the U.S. and Canada documenting the places and people associated with America's Underground Railroad. The network of secret routes and safe houses used by escaping enslaved African Americans is the subject of "Passage on the Underground Railroad," an exhibition of complex digital montages that will be presented in the University at Buffalo Art Gallery.

Forbes magazine has once again ranked the UB School of Management as one of the best business schools in the world based on the "return on investment" it provides MBA graduates.

"We Need Food Not Bombs," a documentary film about the local chapter of a decades-old international movement by University at Buffalo graduate student Ron Douglas, has been programmed for national and international broadcast by Free Speech TV.

The University at Buffalo will launches its third season of UB on the Green, a free outdoor performance series held on the South (Main Street) Campus, with a performance by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
