A longtime UB Law School professor who has spent a lot of time in courtrooms throughout the nation is unveiling ambitious plans for the school’s Advocacy Institute.
More than 1,300 students are candidates to receive degrees during UB’s 169th University Commencement to be held at 10 a.m. May 17 in Alumni Arena, North Campus.
Each May, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce recognizes individuals and companies that support Western New York through their business and community service.
Mention the idea of that universal translator to UB senior Natasha Sanford and, though not a science fiction fan, she immediately starts solving the problem of real-time, speech-based translation.
