The University at Buffalo has received a $1.8 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to test new strategies for improving the delivery of potent toxins to cancer cells.
The UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Utica College have formed a new agreement that will provide students the opportunity to earn a doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD) in a shorter amount of time.

Stephen Dunnett, UB vice provost for international education, will update members of the media on President Trump’s executive order of Jan. 27 that temporarily suspends entry to the U.S. by citizens of seven countries on the order’s impact on UB and the university’s response.
The University at Buffalo is assessing the executive order and is actively monitoring the order’s potential impact on UB students, faculty, staff and visiting scholars who are from countries cited in the order.
