Media Advisory: UB's Dunnett available today to discuss executive order's impact on university

Who: Stephen Dunnett, UB vice provost for international education

When:  11:45 a.m. today (Jan. 30)

Where:  Capen Hall, rm. 411, UB North Campus

What:  121 UB students and 20 faculty, staff and scholars are from the counties cited in President Trump’s executive order of Jan. 27 that temporarily suspends entry to the U.S. by citizens of seven countries.  Dunnett will update members of the media on the order’s impact on UB and the university’s response to date.

Note to  media: We have asked students from the affected countries to speak to media but none have volunteered to do so as of this morning.
