School of Law Dean Search On Campus Visits Announced

Dear University Community,

On behalf of the search committee for the School of Law Dean, we are very pleased to announce that we have confirmed on-campus visits with five finalists for the position, selected from a diverse and distinguished international pool of candidates. During their visits, finalists will meet with senior academic and administrative leadership, faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

The names and CVs of the finalists will be available on the search website 48 hours prior to each candidate’s visit. Members of the UB community will need to log in with their UBIT name and password to gain access to finalists’ names and CVs.

Public Forums with finalists are scheduled on the dates below at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in 310 Capen Hall, inside Oscar A. Silverman Library. At these sessions, the finalists will provide introductory remarks and then engage in dialogue with those attending.

310 Capen is located within the Silverman Library on the third floor. Participants can enter the library using the elevators across from/to the left of 1Capen on the ground floor on the Hamilton Loop side of the building or use the backside elevators near the Honors College (not the elevators directly across from One World Cafe) on the 1st floor on the Flint Loop side.

For those who cannot attend in person, a live stream will be available on the search website at the time of each open session. Additionally, a recording of each session will be posted on the search website after the open session and will be available until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15.

Following these visits, we invite your confidential feedback on the finalists. Feedback surveys

for each finalist will be available on the search website. To ensure timely consideration of your feedback, please submit by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15.
