A front-page column in the Buffalo News featured alumnus Stephen Still (BS civil '76) who described how his transformational experiences as a UB undergraduate set him on a path toward a graduate degree at Princeton University and a successful management career in fleet and network planning for major airlines.
Still says today’s Bulls games in the NCAA Tournament are another opportunity to affirm how his time and experiences at UB were the critical pivot in his life. “I believe so much in public education as a chance to step up and change trajectories,” Still said.
“The education I received at UB was as good or better than what I got at Princeton, and the students were as smart or smarter, and much more diverse.”
