UB’s Downtown Campus is anchored by the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, which relocated in 2017 to a state-of-the-art facility in Buffalo’s medical corridor, alongside several research and clinical institutes.
Conference, meeting and reception spaces are flexible venues designed to accommodate a wide range of events, from small meetings to larger receptions and gatherings. These spaces typically feature movable tables and chairs, allowing for a variety of room layouts, and may offer built-in audiovisual capabilities to support presentations and events. Because features and capacities vary, event planners should review each individual venue listing for detailed information about available amenities and setup options.
The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, located at 955 Main Street, has a wide range of spaces. Rooms are set up in a standard configuration. If an alternate configuration is desired, contact the Jacobs School Facilities Management Office.

The Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) is the academic home of clinical and translational research in Buffalo and is located at 875 Ellicott Street. UB Faculty and Staff are able to request the Atrium for events.
