Community engagement is a collaborative process that involves working with groups of people to address concerns and issues facing that group. There are many levels of community engagement, as well as many tools for effective engagement. In this workshop, you will learn about the basics of community engagement, what it is and what it is not, and identify pitfalls and common missteps. Real world examples will be used to highlight community engagement tools.
