Our Footprint

Counting our carbon footprint is complex and hard work, but it is also a critical component that guides our reduction strategies. Our university has been measuring our greenhouse gas impact for the past decade and along the way, we got better at capturing a more holistic picture, but we still have more to do. Transparency of our operational footprint is important for us. Below are links to innovative visualization tools we have created for the campus community. The data is broken down into specific metrics including scope of emission, building energy usage and comparisons to our peers. This information will be updated annually and charted over the next ten years as we work to achieve climate neutrality.
