Education Collaborative of WNY

CII is partnering with the Education Collaborative of WNY to host a year long program with area high school teachers from Buffalo Public Schools and surrounding districts in collaboration with the News Literacy Project (NLP).

NLP will provide all interested WNY teachers a professional development day, Friday November 3rd at the Buffalo Museum of Science.

From this group of teachers six will be chosen to take a year-long, deep dive into misinformation through news and media.

At the end of the school year, May or June, the cohort of teachers and a select group of their students will present at a hybrid symposium on Media Literacy in the Classroom.
