Book Manuscript Workshops

Baldy Center.

The Baldy Center supports book manuscript workshops as part of its mission to advance interdisciplinary research on law, legal institutions, and social policy. The workshops seek to help UB faculty members make their book manuscripts as strong as possible prior to submission for publication.

The Baldy Center invites two or three distinguished external scholars to review the manuscript and to engage in an intensive discussion with the author and interested UB faculty. Authors generally find these workshops highly valuable, and commentators and faculty find them stimulating and rewarding.

All non-adjunct UB faculty members with substantially complete book manuscripts relating to law, legal institutions, or social policy are eligible to apply. To apply, please email The Baldy Center with your proposed book workshop. Include the book title, subject, state of completion, and probable or contacted publisher, as well as your proposed timing for the workshop.
